Step-by-step instructions :
You can do step 1b (preselection) or step 3 (in-tool selection) to perform this operation.
1 . Before using this tool:
1a (optional) : You may want to set the selection filter to ' Member '.
Select Items bindings (step 1b) 1b (optional) : In Select Items mode, left-click ( Select ) the one (1) member you want. It changes color to indicate that it is selected.
2 . Invoke Evu Cleanup Edit by Location using one (1) of the following methods:
Method 1 : Click the Evu Cleanup Edit by Location icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Tools ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).
Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Tools > Erection View Cleanup > Edit by Location .
Method 3, 4 or 5 : Evu Cleanup Edit by Location can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .
Method 6 : With Erection View Cleanup Mode mouse bindings active, middle-click ( By Loc ).
Note: The option " Steel member style " on the Detail Erection Views window sets the form in which members are displayed when an erection view is detailed.
3 . Skip this step if you already selected the member you want in step 1b or if you did step 2, method 1.

3a (if you didn't preselect) : Evu Cleanup Edit by Location prompts you to left-click ( Select ) the member you want to edit. This prompting also occurs if more than one member is selected or if, for example, a material or bolt is selected.
4 . The Erection View Cleanup window for the one member selected in step 1b (or step 3) appears on screen. The member remains selected, but is shown in its true color.
Alternative 1 : Change the settings on this window, then press the " OK " button to close the window and apply the changes to the selected member.
Alternative 2 : Press the " Cancel " button to not make any changes to the selected member.
5 . The mouse bindings that were active before you invoked Edit by Location become active again.
Note: Changes made to a 2D erection view using this tool become permanent only when you Save those changes. Until you Save your changes, you can Revert back to the previously saved version of your drawing. You can Undo at any time, even after a Save , so long as the drawing remains open.
